Sherry Davis Molock

Dr. Sherry Molock is currently Associate Professor of Psychology at George Washington University, Washington, D.C. In addition to her work in academia, Dr. Molock serves on the ministerial staff at Ft. Foote Baptist Church in Ft. Washington, Maryland where she heads the Family Life Ministry and serves as minister to women.

She is the recipient of a career development grant from the National Institute of Mental Health to support her current research on suicidal behaviors among African American adolescents. Her goal is to design and develop suicide prevention programs in African American churches.

Dr. Molock has published articles on suicide in The Journal of Black Psychology and Suicide and Life Threatening Behaviors. She serves on the NOPCAS board of directors.
