Rabbi Marcia Zimmerman

Rabbi Marcia Ann Zimmerman is Senior Rabbi at Temple Israel in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota and began her rabbinic studies in 1982.

While at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, Rabbi Zimmerman was chairperson for the Women's Student Alliance, student representative on the HUC-JIR Interview Committee and student coordinator for the Brit Milah course. She was ordained in the spring of 1988.
