Father John Grace

Father John Grace is a priest of the Diocese of Richmond, VA and the Campus Minster at James Madison University (JMU) in Harrisonburg, Va. He earned a BA in History from St. Meinrad College in 1974 a MDiv from St. Meinrad School of Theology in 1979. He has served JMU since l989. Ordained in 1979, he has served in 3 parishes before ministering at JMU.

As a Campus Minister Father John works with a student leadership team which coordinates all aspects of the life of the Catholic community. Within the university, he works with the student affairs office and orientation programs. He is part of the Leadership Development office for the university, teaches history part time, and coordinates alternative spring break service trips for the students since 1991 to sites such as Honduras, Mexico, Appalachia and rural Florida.
